State Level Rebuild Odisha Youth Camp Details

State Level Rebuild Odisha Youth Camp

Project Point Odisha, a committed youth-led organisation working for youth empowerment, rural innovation, and nation-building, successfully organised the State Level Rebuild Odisha Youth Camp at Kamaguru College, Kamaguru, Khordha. The event was held in collaboration with the National Youth Project (NYP), Odisha Chapter, as part of a broader movement to engage and energise the youth towards constructive state and nation rebuilding efforts, especially post-disasters and in the context of sustainable development.

The camp brought together youth volunteers, social workers, and student leaders from across Odisha to participate in a week-long program focused on community service, skill development, self-discipline, and patriotic values. Participants engaged in activities such as:

  • Shramdaan (voluntary labour) for cleanliness and beautification drives in and around the college and community areas.

  • Workshops and training sessions on leadership, disaster preparedness, sustainable living, and youth participation in governance.

  • Cultural exchange and unity programmes, highlighting Odisha’s heritage and the strength of youth unity across communities.

  • Interaction with eminent social leaders and freedom fighters, inspired by the ideology of Sarvodaya and Gandhian principles.

The State Level Camp embodied the spirit of “Rebuild Odisha – Rebuild Bharat”, encouraging young minds to dedicate themselves to rebuilding society with a spirit of service, unity, and compassion. The collaboration with NYP Odisha added deep-rooted Gandhian values to the initiative, reinforcing the commitment towards a self-reliant and socially conscious Odisha.

The event concluded with a pledge by all participants to contribute actively in their respective regions for rural development, environmental protection, and youth mobilisation.
