Yoga Sangam on the eve of International Day of Yoga 2025

On the eve of International Day of Yoga 2025, Project Point Odisha, a leading youth and community development organization, successfully organised "Yoga Sangam" on 21st June 2025 at Niali College, Niali, Cuttack, Odisha. The event aimed to promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being through the ancient Indian practice of yoga among youth, students, and local communities.

The program saw enthusiastic participation from over 150 students, NSS volunteers, local youth clubs, teachers, and community members. Under the guidance of certified yoga instructors, participants performed a series of asanas, pranayama, and meditation sessions as per the Common Yoga Protocol issued by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.

The event highlighted the theme of “Yoga for Self and Society”, encouraging the youth to embrace yoga as a lifestyle choice for holistic development. Special sessions included motivational talks on the benefits of yoga, live demonstrations, and awareness discussions on mental health and fitness.

Distinguished guests including local educators, social workers, and health practitioners graced the occasion and appreciated Project Point Odisha’s efforts in spreading awareness about the significance of yoga in rural and semi-urban areas.

"Yoga Sangam" reaffirmed the commitment of Project Point Odisha to promoting wellness, culture, and youth engagement at the grassroots level, aligning with the spirit of Viksit Bharat @2047.
